Cheese!

Walt has been working with the girls on saying "Cheese!" for pictures...here are a few of my favorites...

The weather has been so awesome so we have been spending the evenings outside - this particular evening in the wagon (Camryn left, Kristin right)

Doorphone?

When we went to the Children's Museum, there was a little house that had a phone and a doorbell in it. Kristin was busy building the walls of the house, but Camryn was playing with the phone (is this a glimpse of what's to come?). Well, we started ringing the doorbell, and Camryn thought it was the phone. Silly girl...

Missing Bib

Normally after the girls eat, they take off their bibs and go throw them in the washing machine. Well 0n this particular day, Kristin got down before taking her bib off, and just couldn't seem to find it. Camryn even comes over to help Kristin take it off, but Kristin gets mad because Cam is touching her.

The View From Here

This is what happens when the girls learn how to take pictures. They are kinda artsy...

Bathrobe Beauties

The girls got some new pajamas and they came with a robe and slippers. Not just any slippers...bunny slippers! Pardon the babies with no clothes on...it was nearly bath time and they still love their bath babies.

Cheese!

Now babies needs to have the slippers on

Swiffer Pony

Lately the girls have been holding the push popper toy like a stick horse, so we thought it would be a great idea to get them real stick horses. They were so excited when they saw them, and then they proceeded to flip the ponies over and used them like swiffers. Just can't win.

Day at the Stockyards

There was free event at the Ft. Worth Stockyard so me and the girls packed up the diaper bag and headed out to see what it was all about. Camryn is wearing pink and Kristin is wearing purple.

Watching the Texas Longhorns eat some hay

Leaning on the rail to see the Longhorns better

We didn't go into the Petting Zoo area, but they were very content to just look from the outside.

The goats were getting a drink
A little tiny bull...

Checking out the animals on display...I think there was an owl up on stage

Armadillo Races!
Up close and personal with an armadillo, the girls didn't touch it, but I did!

Pat, pat your pony...good job ponies
As we were leaving, the train came in, so we stayed to watch it turn around

Quote of the Day: "Are they sisters?"

Two Seater

I sure didn't think that they could both still fit on this car, but where there's a will, there's a way.

It happened again...

So the first time that the girls emptied their dresser, I cleaned it all up and folded all the blankets and clothes nicely. About halfway through putting all the stuff away, I thought to myself, "I should make them put everything away", but wanting an neat and orderly dresser drawer outweighed my desire to teach them a lesson at that point. Walt and I did decide that if they emptied the drawers again - they would clean up the mess. Well, here are their cleaning skills in action.

Please excuse their morning hair

Just Wanna Play

Even if I'm sooooo sleepy...

Saturday, September 19, 2009

It was bound to happen...

When the girls wake up before we do, they normally get out of bed and read books. The biggest mess they made was dumping out the book tub...until today. I looked on the video monitor and saw something I had seen before. Something that made me run and get the camera, before checking on the girls. Here is what the camera found -

Good morning my sweeties... (Kristin in front, Camryn in back)Oh wait...it appears as though your dresser threw up into the middle of your room...

And Camryn is halfway undressed...and there are Q-tips everywhere

Camryn immediately started cramming stuff back in the drawers
At least the multiple bottles of nail polish, the lotion, vapor rub and neosporin kept their lids on. Now THAT would have been a rude awakening!

Dinner with Babies

Me and the girls were home alone this weekend and when dinner time rolled around and they wanted to bring their babies to the table, I let them. At look at the cuteness that ensued.

Kristin sat her baby like this all by herself - the babies started out beside them

Camryn trying to get her baby to stay on the side of her booster seat
The babies were soon moved between belly and table, so they could use their hands to eat their corn. (Camryn)

Window Seat

When I was little I always wished that I had a window seat in my room. I dreamed of sitting in my window seat all snuggled up with pillows and blankets just reading a book. My grandparents' have a window seat in their upstairs library and it was always my favorite place to sit. Maybe I should take a hint from Kristin and Camryn - if you want a window seat, then make a window seat.

Anatomy and Physiology

My mom was over the other day and she was studying for her Anatomy and Physiology class at the kitchen table. Well, Kristin decided that she needed to do some studying too. The funniest part was that she was TOTALLY into it! We might have a little med student on our hands...

The heart

Whoa!
These are cool pictures!

Neat!
Camryn wanted to see what was so cool too

Kristin is thinking, "Nana!, why did you let her up here too??"
