My cousin's wedding pictures were posted today and here is what we've got:

Their baskets and headpieces

Baskets and bribery bunnies

Digging in their baskets for petals (Walt sending them on their way)

Throwing petals

...more petals...

...some more...

Oh yeah, we are supposed to walk too

Making their way down the aisle - the bribe bunnies are waiting with the bridesmaids

Bluebonnets!

It is almost a requirement that to keep your "Texan" status, you must take pictures with the bluebonnets in the spring. Last year, we kept putting it off until it was too late and all the bluebonnets were half-dead. So this year, we hit the fields up early.

Usually the best places are on the sides of the highway, but there is the most awesome place in Grapevine - several acres of beautiful bluebonnets! We were a little early (they weren't in full bloom yet), but we went ahead and took some pictures in case we didn't make it out again.

Also, I'm playing around with some photo editing...and there are WAY TOO MANY options.

Easter - Take 2

On Easter Sunday, we headed out to my grandmother, Connie's, house for some good 'ole fashion egg hunting. The plan was for the girls to nap on the drive out to Dallas, but they had other plans. They both stayed awake until we were 10 minutes away, so we sat out in the car for about 20 minutes so they could get a tiny nap in before running around the backyard. Once inside, we had lots of yummy food and hung out with family for the afternoon. Such a nice day!

Let the games begin!

Cam

The baskets were a little small, so they had to hike it back to "home base" (a.k.a. Connie) to unload their eggs several times

Cam

I told Kristin to look on the ground for the green egg...so she checked under her feet.

"There is no egg underneath me mommy"

"Oh! There it is"

Connie has great stuff in her backyard...like this duck-goose

and this regal fox

and don't forget the bunny!

More eggs!

Having so much fun (Camryn left, Kristin right)

Time to open all the loot. Camryn left - stickers! Kristin right - puppy panties!

Kristin was having trouble opening the big orange egg, so Noni asked if she needed help and she said, "No! Cammy help"

Camryn

The girls gave their hats to my Uncle Mark and Walt...and they wore them...for more than 30 seconds...they aren't wrapped around any one's little fingers...nah.

Belle dog

We love our Belle dog...(even though she sheds like crazy and has stinky toots) - because she puts up with these sweet girls.

Sickie-Poo

The other morning Kristin developed a bit of a goopy eye, so Walt took both girls to the doctor and low and behold Kristin was diagnosed with an ear infection and pink eye! I'm not totally sold on the pink eye diagnosis though because no one else in the house has gotten it...so, I'm thinking just a run of the mill eye infection. Either way, Kristin's eye was pretty swollen. Walt was trying to take pictures of her eye and Camryn wanted to get in on the fun. Camryn noticed that Kristin's eye was shut a little, so Cam squeezed her eyes shut for the picture too...just like Kristin's eye.

300th Post!

Here is a video from my cousin's wedding of the girls "playing" piano. Camryn is closest to the camera and she keeps saying, "stop!" to Kristin.

Giant Easter Bunny?

There must be a HUGE Easter bunny (or chicken?...Can someone explain exactly where the eggs come from??) because the girls found the most gigantic egg - and they even tried to eat it!

Biggest egg ever! (Camryn left, Kristin right)

Yummy

There are more inside??

So many eggs

No, I want to hold it! No, me!

Let's run in circles! (Camryn facing the camera)

Round and round! (Kristin facing the camera)

A whole bunch of eggheads! From left to right - Camryn, Uncle Jacob, Aunt Janel, and Kristin
***Special thanks to Grandma Erlinger for these pictures!***
