Bye Uncle Luke

When we mentioned that Luke had to go to the airport to get back to New York, the girls were excited - not only to see airplanes, but to go somewhere with Uncle Luke (their new FAVORITE person).  Before leaving, we got some parting pictures.

Trampoline with Uncle Luke

Uncle Luke was able to come into town for a week over Christmas break - the girls were a little shy at first (they haven't seen him in a year), but by Day 2 Uncle Luke won out over Mommy and Noni.  The girls wanted Luke to play games and sit next to them at meals...it was adorable!  They had a blast.

One more Christmas

Our last Christmas celebration was with my mom's side of the family in Dallas.  We have had Christmas at this house ever since I can remember having Christmas (it was my grandmother's house, but is now my cousin and her husband's house).  So much history...can you tell by the wallpaper??  Love it.
We always have an olive/pickle tray at these little get togethers - I had put a small serving fork next to the olives...well Camryn decided that it was a perfectly sized fork for a small child to EAT off of.  So away she went...eating all the black olives with the tiny serving fork.

What mom??  I'm just eating olives...

The stockings all lined up down the hall

Beautiful tree

Sweet baby Samantha (my cousin's daughter: my second cousin?) - When she was first born the girls tried to say her name, but it came out as "Santa Manta"...I can't help but call her that all the time now

Kristin the sweet pirate

We always get these popper things that have paper crowns - so it was fitting for Samantha's first Christmas that she wear one of the crowns

She sports it quite nicely

Love these sweet smiles

So spoiled!  I always wanted one of these when I was little.

My cousin and her mom made the girls day by getting them these fun cookies to bake - ALL BY THEMSELVES

2nd cousins!

The girls got thses cute little puppies (and their own little dog kennels) and wouldn't put them down.
