Swimming with Grandma

It isn't summer in Texas without lots of swimming!  Grandma Erlinger took us out to a local water park that is a great size for the girls to enjoy.  They aren't real big on the water spraying in their faces, but they loved swimming around with their Puddle Jumpers.

Guessing Time ***UPDATED***

Guessing time again!

***Apparently this was a hard one because only 1 person (out of 5 - I had a few e-mails in addition to the comments below) got the girls right!  Way to go Ruth!

Sewing

I've been neglecting the blog partially because I've started sewing!  I'm not sure why I didn't start sewing earlier in life, but I'm having so much fun with it now.  As usual, the girls had to get in on the action and help me out.  I was working on a surprise for "baby Mark" (as the girls call their soon to be born cousin) and they helped me out.  One helped me turn the material while the other one helped advance the needle.  Then they switched places.

Kindermusik Class

Me and the girls tried out a Kindermusik class with our twin group.  It is kind of like story time at the library, but with bells, rattles and beach balls.  The girls were a little overwhelmed because there were 20 kids there, but they had fun and played along with the games.

We made a sheet into an ocean for the beach balls to roll around on

Painting

New favorite thing to do...paint!  I found some small birdhouses on clearance for $0.50 and let the girls pick out one color of paint to use.  I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive to let them paint.  I feared a huge mess, but I should have known better.  My sweet little OCD babies asked for a wipe every time they got a little on their hands.  That is...until they started painting their hands to make hand prints.

Six Flags

We took the girls to Six Flags for the first time to celebrate my sister's birthday.  It was pretty hot, but we still had lots of fun.  They squeaked in at 36 inches (Camryn is really about a 1/4 inch under, but they gave her the benefit of the doubt), so they were able to ride quite a few things - including the Mini Mine Train (which is a pretty legit little roller coaster).  My favorite thing was the tiny little potties in the bathroom located in the kids area.  My sister said they are the ones that are in elementary school, but I have never seen them in a public restroom.  So flippin' cute!  The girls thought it was great that there were 2 potties for 2 girls.  They love when things come in pairs.  I didn't take many pictures because I'm a slacker, but here are the ones I have.

The girls are inside the truck (really...I promise...just squint a little and you'll see them)

Love You Cappy, Love You Belle

These girls love their puppy dogs!  My favorite thing is hearing them baby talk to the dogs.  It is hilarious.  They'll walk up and say, "Ohhhh...Capppppyyyyy cappy, cappy, cappy."  So funny the things they pick up.

Much better!

Disregard the attire...we're potty training here.  The girls were practicing balancing, but they added some flair.

Play-Doh Breakfast

Yummy!  The girls love their own personal kitchens and cooked up some super delicious breakfast the other morning...then wanted me to taste it!  So we all pretended to eat Play-Doh.  No actual Play-Doh was eaten.  Hopefully.
