Christmas
numero tres was held on the "other side of town" (a.k.a. Dallas) at my cousin's house. This is the house that my grandmother lived in for as long as I can remember. When she passed away in 2009, my cousin (who had been taking care of my grandmother for quite a while) stayed in the house. The whole family decided that since we had always met for family functions at that house, we should continue in the tradition - it was (and is) the right place to have Christmas.
The girls quickly found their new rocking chairs and proceeded to try them out

Love the little heart cutout on the back

Camryn showing off her thumb puppet

Rocking chairs make great present opening stations

The adults exchange names for 1 gift and do a White Elephant gift exchange for a second gift. This was the best/funniest gift - fake mustaches!

Helping pass out presents - such big helpers!

Uncle Mark showing the girls how to take their chairs apart - they are puzzle chairs and come completely apart to lay flat.

Time to open presents

Tearing paper - so much fun!
