My mom brought over a pretty pink Azalea bush a few days ago and we decided to plant it today after dinner. We stripped the girls down so that they could "help" dig in the dirt. They really don't like being dirty and it is quite funny.
Camryn left and Kristin right - they loved using the garden tools (because they didn't dirty)
They each tossed about 2 handfuls of dirt, then they realized they were getting dirty
Camryn sat on the side and put her feet in the dirt, then held up her foot to show me that it had dirt on it.
Kristin left and Camryn right - back to the shovel and rake and much happier
Until Camryn accidentally scooped dirt into Kristin's face. Up her nose AND in her mouth. She was not a happy camper.
All done! Kristin left and Camryn right - they are each holding a flower because they kept "petting" the flowers.
Oh yeah, don't forget to clean up!
Everyone does their part...even the grass was swept.
I wish my boys didn't like to get dirty! :) And what wonderful "helpers" you have!
