What a wonderful Mother's Day! Mad props go to Walt, who helped the girls make me a beautiful mother's day card. It was so sweet! Walt said that they were champs - They colored, very carefully (haha), and colored until my card was all filled up. What a nice gesture from my 3 favorite people!
Sunday morning we made it over to Walt's mom's house for a wonderful breakfast courtesy of Walt's sister, Janel, and her husband, Jacob. Thanks for the great breakfast guys! The girls loved the cheesy eggs the best. Kristin and Camryn could have watched their cousins toss the football around all day long, but alas, we had other things to do.
After a nice nap, we joined up with my mom to go shopping. While we were at the mall, we stopped by one of the fountains and found that the girls have much different techniques for tossing pennies into the wishing water. Camryn chunks the coins as quickly as you can hand them to her, while Kristin holds on to them much longer. Kristin will move her arm in the motion of throwing the coin, but she doesn't let go of it. I guess she is going to be our little money saver.
Happy Mother's Day to all!
