Puppy Party - Take 2

The second party was on our side of town - special thanks to Grandma Erlinger for hosting, helping set-up and providing some snacks! There were tons of kids at this party, so it kept me way more busy. The girls had fun watching all the older kids run around - they are such people watchers. We didn't end up singing "Happy Birthday" or even blow out candles, but that also meant no meltdown...so I am totally cool with it. There was no fighting, no accidental head bonks, nothing! I thought it might be too good to be true, but the day ended with minimal craziness.

The "Doggy Bags" (a.k.a. goody bags) and presents

Theresa was the winner of the Puppy Hunt - she collected SO many puppies

Opening presents - skirts and shirts

Wrestling with the beautiful bows - they ended up coming off easily, they just looked difficult

Loving their new baby dolls!

Pat, pat the baby

Capri Sun break

They weren't too sure at first if they should both ride on it, but we convinced them that it was okay...round and round they went

Puppy Party - Take 1

We ended up having two parties for the girls' 2nd birthday - one on our side of town and one on the other side of town. The first party was on the other side of town at my cousin's house. Kristin and Camryn are the only little kids on my mom's side of the family, so it was just the two of them and a bunch of adults. A fun surprise was that my cousin's dog was in attendance as well as my aunt and uncle's two dogs. All 3 real dogs were wonderfully behaved and the girls loved having them there.

The snack table

We used dog bowls to serve the food in (new ones of course!)

Pupcakes!
Petting Bullwinkle
Learning how to "granny bowl"
Only 1 pin down!
Nana with the puppy mask
Cam with the puppy mask
Adorable shirts thanks to Andrea (my little brother's girlfriend), she picked out the ribbon and made their initials as well as the "2" on the back, I ironed them on, but she did all the hard work
Practicing "Stick the nose on the Puppy"
Camryn trying out her new 4-Wheeler

Puppy hunting time - Nana got a big pack of these cute little puppies and we had a puppy scavenger hunt...pretty much like an Easter egg hunt
Kristin showing off her "catch"
Not to be outdone - Camryn

The outside hunt!
Posing while the puppies are being hidden

Thanks to Great-grandma, Connie, for helping a girl out! Kristin was freaking out because she had icing on her hands.
