Museum of Science and History

Our local Science and History Museum recently underwent a makeover - and the girls love it! The entryway is a giant "lantern". It has super tall ceilings and tons of glass that make for a spectacular first impression.

Snow Day 2

After the initial day of playing in the snow, the girls knew what all that white stuff was about and as soon as they woke up, they were getting dressed to go outside.

Snow Day 1

I'm so far behind with my posting!! On Feb. 11th-12th, Texas received a record amount of snow. We didn't measure in our yard, but around our neighborhood there was 10"-12" of snow reported. While it was snowing, the girls weren't too keen on going outside. They were annoyed by the "mess" that the snow was making on their coats. Once the snow had stopped coming down though, they were all about the outside. They found their boots so that they could go outside to play.

Just in Time for the Snow

Our toilet paper bird feeders were just in time for the massive amount of snow (massive amount for Texas anyway) that was dumped in our front yard. The birds were climbing all over trying to pick off every last seed.
